WE ARE THE FRICTIONJuly 2009An anthology of collaborative illustration and short fiction. Designed, edited and published by Sing Statistics (an independent publishing concern run with Lizzy Stewart), We Are The Friction was launched in July 2009 at Analogue Books, Edinburgh.
The book pairs twelve writers with twelve illustrators and asks them to create new work inspired by the work of their partner - stories from illustrations and illustrations from stories. Pairs included Ray Fenwick vs. Spencer Krug, Pietari Posti vs. Ryan Boudinot, Dan Kennedy vs. Frank Chimero, and Chris Eaton vs. Nigel Peake.
