KILL YOUR TIMID NOTION
February 2010

Kill Your Timid Notion is an experimental festival programmed by Arika and held annually at Dundee Contemporary Arts.

The 2010 festival took the form of a week-long series of performances, film screenings and artist-led 'investigations', attempting to strip back sound and moving image to their core, for examination, discussion and refocusing.

The identity also strove to pare down the week's performances, through a set of diagrams, which attempted to visualise their theoretical grounding or practical execution. These were applied throughout the festival materials, including posters and a programme booklet.
